Ok, I lied. I do write code.

It’s been a wild start of the year. All of the AI models have gotten better, the speed of development has been… insane.

In both, good and bad ways. So much so that some days I don’t even have to write code, I can manifest it.

And it manifests in the most unexpected ways. I can ask for a feature and it just appears.

Perfectly working, no bugs, everything I didn’t type in the chatbox was implemented.

Other times, I ask for a feature and it gives up. Not even a heads up, just stops coding and goes on what I assume is a smoke break. Sometimes after the smoke break it decides to go the extra mile and give me something broken that I didn’t even ask for.

Now, credits where credits are due, it does amazing job when it comes to creating incredibly average products.

I can explore idea in ways that I couldn’t before. And that’s a good thing. Because what comes after is the fun part.

The devil is in the details, and so is my competitive advantage.

The world is about to get a lot more competitive. I can’t wait to play with all of the exceptional software that comes out of it.

Anyway, the smoke break is over. Time to manifest. Stop reading. Go build something.

It won’t be perfect, and you’ll struggle a lot, but that’s what engineers do. We struggle, we learn, we build.

And somehow, the chaos is billable. Don’t tell anyone 🤫
